The primary objective of this project was to provide users with enhanced insights into the company's analytics. Users expressed a need for high-level information to assess the performance and progress of their employees. The product aimed to educate managers and bankers on effective teaching methods for their banking services.
Within the product, administrators were granted access to valuable data regarding their employees. This included metrics such as the total number of employees, the usage statistics of the online learning system, and the consumption of testing units.
By analyzing these key indicators, administrators could gain a holistic understanding of employee engagement and training effectiveness. The data allowed them to assess the adoption of the online learning system and track the utilization of testing units, providing insights into the overall progress of their workforce.
The intention behind providing these analytics was to enable administrators to identify areas of improvement, optimize training strategies, and ensure the efficient utilization of resources. By leveraging the insights provided by the product, managers and bankers could refine their teaching approaches and enhance the delivery of banking services.
Overall, this project aimed to empower administrators with essential data-driven insights to drive efficiency and effectiveness in employee training for banking services.
To ensure a seamless user experience, my initial focus on this project was to thoroughly understand the primary needs of the users. Recognizing the importance of prioritizing their requirements, I took proactive steps to gather valuable insights. This involved conducting user research through a well-prepared questionnaire, which was distributed via email, followed by engaging in informative conversations with the users over the phone and via video chat.
By employing these methods, I aimed to gain a comprehensive understanding of the users' perspectives, challenges, and expectations. Through the questionnaire, I collected essential data to establish a foundation of knowledge about their specific needs and pain points. Subsequently, the direct interactions through phone and video chats allowed for deeper discussions, enabling me to gain additional context, ask follow-up questions, and clarify any uncertainties.
By actively listening to the users' feedback and engaging in meaningful conversations, I could refine my understanding of their requirements. This user-centric approach laid the groundwork for effectively prioritizing their needs and designing a solution that would seamlessly align with their expectations.
Understanding the main needs of the users before delving into the project allowed me to establish a strong foundation and informed decision-making process. It ensured that the final product would deliver a tailored experience that addressed their pain points and provided value to their daily workflows.
As part of the iterative design process, I began by creating basic mockups to test the logic and gather user feedback. Starting with low-fidelity wireframes, I focused on finding the most effective way to present the information to users.
The low-fidelity wireframes served as a blueprint to outline the structure and layout of the interface without getting into intricate details. This approach allowed me to iterate quickly and make adjustments based on user feedback. By presenting users with simplified visuals, I could gather valuable insights about the overall user flow, organization of information, and usability of the interface.
Through user testing sessions, I collected feedback on the mockups and observed how users interacted with the proposed designs. This feedback helped me identify any pain points, areas of confusion, or opportunities for improvement. Armed with this information, I iterated on the wireframes, refining and enhancing the design to better meet the users' needs and expectations.
The process of creating basic mockups and testing the logic with users enabled me to validate design decisions early on, saving time and effort in the long run. It ensured that the final product would be intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with the users' preferences.
By leveraging low-fidelity wireframes and incorporating user feedback, I could fine-tune the design and lay a solid foundation for subsequent stages of the project. This user-centered approach played a crucial role in delivering a solution that resonated with the target audience and provided a seamless experience.
As the creator of the style guide, I had the advantage of an established design framework, which expedited the transition from wireframes to a polished interface. Leveraging the visual elements defined in the style guide, such as colors, typography, and layout, I could swiftly apply these consistent design principles to create a cohesive and visually appealing interface.
With a focus on user experience, one of the notable features implemented was the seamless filtering functionality that empowered users to easily access the specific information they needed. Through intuitive filtering options, users could streamline their search and efficiently narrow down the data to relevant subsets. This enhanced usability significantly and ensured that users could find the desired information with ease.
Additionally, to further enhance the user experience, a single-tap feature was incorporated to allow users to clear applied filters effortlessly. This streamlined interaction simplified the process of removing filters, enabling users to reset their selections and start fresh with a single gesture. This user-friendly approach reduced friction and contributed to an overall smooth and efficient interface.
By capitalizing on the established style guide that I had created, the transition from wireframes to the polished interface was not only quick but also ensured consistency and visual harmony throughout the design. The combined elements of the style guide and the user-centric features provided users with an intuitive, visually appealing, and efficient experience when accessing and interacting with the desired information.
The project was specifically developed for desktop and tablet usage, catering to the needs of users across various banks throughout the United States. Recognizing the significance of these platforms in the banking industry, the product was tailored to ensure a seamless and optimized experience on desktop computers and tablets.
By focusing on desktop and tablet usage, the project aimed to provide bankers with efficient tools and resources to enhance their teaching and training processes. The user interface was designed to take advantage of the larger screen real estate offered by desktop computers and the portability of tablets, allowing bankers to access and utilize the platform conveniently from their preferred devices.
To ensure widespread adoption and reach, the product was distributed to multiple banks across the United States. This broad implementation aimed to empower bankers nationwide with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively deliver banking services while adhering to efficient teaching methodologies.
By targeting desktop and tablet usage and expanding the product's reach to multiple banks, the project aimed to provide a comprehensive solution that improved banking training processes across the United States. It allowed bankers to access the platform from their preferred devices, ensuring convenience and accessibility in their day-to-day activities.
